This was my first experience reading a Murakami book but not my first exposure as I discovered his popularity when I watched the movie adaptation of Norwegian Wood.
I really enjoyed the stories but there were times the characters didn’t feel interesting enough and I expected the story to drag until Murakami started fleshing out their characterisation through past events and beautiful philosophical writing.
Vin and the rest of Kelsier’s gang have successfully overthrown the Lord Ruler’s tyrannical government but they are now faced with a challenge of running a kingdom.
